Yom HaShoah Candle Memorials

Sunday evening is Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. Although there will be many services and lectures to commemorate this event, you can also choose to light candles on your own. Light six candles in remembrance of the approximately 6 million Jews who lost their lives during the Holocaust. After lighting the candles, you can recite the Mourner’s Kaddish for those that have no one to do it for them. Here is some inspiration for gathering your candles together:

    I love the artichoke candles especially since artichokes are so prevalent in Jerusalem–a nice connection to Israel!
