This Kiddush Set Will Make You Wish Every Day Was Shabbat

Any Jewish design aficionado is well aware of Studio Armadillo and their line of modern Judaica. Their origami menorah is well-known and in my book has entered the pantheon of all time great menorahs. What you may not have seen though, is their series of geometric kiddush sets. This line was launched a little over a year ago and has really grown into a beautifully mature line of Shabbat accouterments.

The series includes a variety of candle holders in both tea and taper sizes with a matching kiddush cup. Some sets have 24k rose gold accents and some do not. All items include optional matching wood bases in a choice of finishes. The design is reminiscent of mid-century modernism but when presented in a simple, modern table setting, the result is an elevated occasion that isn’t fussy.

It’s impossible to decide which are my favorites…I want them all. You can buy Studio Armadillo direct from their site and they are also carried worldwide so check your local Judaica retailer as well.

  • That’s amazing. Too bad I’m not a goldnick!

I am looking foe a modern silver Havdalah set, not the Yair Emmanuel ine. Any Ideas?

    • Hi Shari! Agayof, Nadav Art, and Shraga Landesman immediately come to mind. I have 2 absolute favorites from World of Judaica: this one and this one, but they have been out of stock since I can remember. Perhaps you can ask them who manufactured them. I’m guessing it’s someone who is out of business, sadly.
