Eight Great Honey Pots for Rosh Hashanah

The tradition of eating apples with honey on Rosh Hashanah to symbolize the sweet year we hope is in store for us needs no special Judaica. You can beautifully conduct the tradition with your regular set of china. That said, honey pots make excellent hostess gifts this time of year and are particularly symbolic wedding gifts, because of the sweet life they represent. How can an item be affordable enough for a hostess gift but also appropriate enough for a wedding gift? That is because honey pots run the gamut from very inexpensive to priceless heirlooms. Literally, you can spend whatever you want on a honey pot. Want to spend $10? You can do that. Want to spend $1,000? You can do that too. Below are a few of my favorites on the market today, but you can also find incredibly unique honey pots too. For the one-of-a-kind-find try searching for “honey pot’ on Ebay or Replacements.
