I love ingenious Jewish products and I when I became aware of these marzipan candies for Passover, I really wanted to share them with you. Marzipops makes specialty handmade marizpan candies for all occasions…including Purim, Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah, as well as Passover. But I really wanted to check out these matzah marzipan candies because I think there is a lot you can do with them on your Passover table.
The marzipan come nicely wrapped in a kraft paper box with a ribbon. A handwritten note accompanies the package so this is a lovely gift presentation if you are gifting it to someone else. Do note that Marzipops are NOT certified kosher yet, so be careful of who you gift or serve them to.
Each set of marzipan candies come individually wrapped. I ordered the Matzah Gift Set which has three sizes: small, large, and medium sized pops.
So, what can you do with them? First off, the pops are super cute at a place setting. You can use the twist tie to connect a place card name tag.
And the mini marzipan bites are terrific as nosh on your Passover table. This gives people something to nibble on while the Haggadah is being read, which definitely helps folks not rushing through.
And you can also use them to adorn another dessert. Atop a majestic flourless chocolate cake they would look amazing. Here I only had a modest little cake and it is still super cute.
These candies are such a great idea and a wonderful product. Marzipops is looking to move to a new facility so they can get kosher certified too, so I think that will really help remove any barriers for the Jewish audience these are intended to serve. A special thank you goes to Dahlia at Marzipops for sending me a set to review.
