Tu B’Shevat is tonight and tomorrow. If you are still aren’t sure about that special something to add to your table, here are some last-minute ideas you still have time to execute.
Bring in a Plant
Cut flowers usually get all the attention when it comes to the center of a table, but I have no qualms about dragging one of my potted plants onto the table when I need a quick centerpiece. The arrangement below has been at the center of my table and sukkah on many occasions.
Branches can be purchased at almost any florist or perhaps even cut from your own backyard. Place them in a simple vase and they will work well as a centerpiece or on the sideboard.
Buy a Piece
Sometimes the easiest thing to do is buy something. This Manzanita Candelabra from West Elm is perfect for Tu B’Shevat and can double as a menorah.
Make Something Simple
Have a scissors and some brown bags and you can whip up one of these tree garlands like I did the other day. Run them down the center of the table to create a runner.
Pick Some Leaves
With a handful of leaves, you can create table scatter or add them to a bowl with floating candles to create an ethereal centerpiece as they gently float around.
